Two weeks after the Pulwama attack in Kashmir, Indian Air Force conducted surgical strike on Pakistan in the early hours of Tuesday (February 26). Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jets flew across the Line of Control (LoC) to demolished terror camps of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in Pakistan.
Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale stated in a press briefing this morning that a very large number of terrorists were eliminated in the airstrike, which destroyed a major terror camp run by Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar’s brother-in-law.
And this strategical move by the Indian Air Force has received the adulation of Indians. Twitter has reactions and praises ever since the news of the air strike on Pakistan came out. Bollywood celebrities are lauding the IAF for giving a befitting reply to Pakistan after the Pulwama attack.
Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, and now Salman Khan has joined the A-listers. The 53-year-old superstar, who is presently busy shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, took to social media to salute the Indian Air Force.

Meanwhile, Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale said in a press briefing at 11.30 am that a large number of terrorists were eliminated in the airstrike, which destroyed a terror camp run by Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar’s brother-in-law.
“India has been repeatedly urging Pakistan to take action against the JeM to prevent jihadis from being trained and armed inside Pakistan. Pakistan has taken no concrete action to dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism on its soil,” he added.
However, Major General Asif Ghafoor, the spokesperson of the Pakistan armed forces, has claimed that the Indian aircrafts were intercepted by the Pakistan Air Force and “released payload in haste” near Balakot without any casualties.
“Under forced hasty withdrawal, aircrafts released payload which had free fall in open area. No infrastructure got hit, no casualties,” Ghafoor tweeted.
